2006 Reunion

=0D The Boomtown Casino and Hotel will be hosting the Airborne Missile Maintenance Squadron Alumni Reunion from April 24-28. A block of 40 rooms have been reserved for the reunion. Room rates will be $69.00 plus tax. Guestroom reservations are to be made by individuals by calling our toll free reservation line at 1-866-462-8696 and identifying themselves as part of the Airborne Missile Squadron Group. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card and must be made no later than March 7, 2006. Any requests received after March 7, 2006 will be handled on a space. =0D Other details will be posted on the AMMS Alumni website when they become available.

Birth of the Snoopy Patch

Michael Chandler, Illustrator for the 379th Bomb Wing, has provided me with a copy of letter from Charles Schultz authorizing the use of Snoopyon the 379th AMMS Alumni patch. You will find a copy of this letter on the Squadron & Wing Patches and 379th AMMS Memories pages on the website.=0D

=0D Michael has been trying to obtain a copy of the the 379th AMMS and 379th Bomb Wing patches. If you have any extra patches from either of these units, please contact Michael. If he is unable to obtain these patches, he is considering having them reproduced. The company that reproduces the patches has minimum order requirement of 150 patches at $3.00 each. Newsletter Submissions

=0D I welcome your submissions for inclusion in the newsletter. The deadline for submissions is the 15th of the month prior to publication. Publication dates are the first of March, June, September and December.=0D

The troops at Travis AFB sent in several new photographs of the Hound Dog Missile they are restoring. You will find these new photographs on the website.
