Since the last issue of the newsletter I have received class photographs of two Hound Dog classes that had WAFS as students. Two of the three WAFS have been identified: Inez Briley and Wendy Percy. The third WAFS first name is believed to be Julie. If you have any information on these three members of the alumni, please pass it on to me.

Website Is Now Available on CD

Several members of the alumni have expressed concerns about whether the website would be continued if I were to become incapacitated or pass away. I am a freelance web designer and don=E2=80=99t have any employees working for me. There isn=E2=80=99t any provision for carrying the website on into the future if something should happen to me. Therefore, I have decided to produce a copy of the website on a CD and make it available to alumni members for the nominal fee of $10.00 plus $4.95 shipping and handling. Attention: Former Wurtsmith Troops

I am also the webmaster for the Yankee Air Force - Wurtsmith Division website. The division has a museum located in the old nose docks on the former Wurtsmith AFB. They don't currently have any displays about 379th AMMS. With your help I would like to prepare a photographic display and donate it to the museum. The planned display would include nine photographs and a listing of the troops that were assigned to the 379th AMMS. I would welcome the donation of photographs toward this effort. Of particular interest would be any group photographs of the troops and photographs of the missile in various stages of the maintenance cycle.

Newsletter Submissions

=0D I would like to thank everyone that has submitted new information and photographs for the website. I receive numerous compliments on the website from alumni and others every month. =0D

=0D I welcome your submissions for inclusion in the newsletter. The deadline for submissions is the 15th of the month prior to publication. Publication dates are the first of March, June, September and December.=0D

Reunion 2006

So far a contract has been signed with The Isle Of Capri on the 17th of March reserving a Hospitality room and the Banquet/ballroom 24 thru 26 April 2006. Room rates will be $79.00 plus tax. The banquet selection has not been determined yet but we will have it shortly. We are planning a picnic at Cullen Park on Barksdale on Tuesday the 25th, it's just a short drive from the Hotel. We had a great time there in 2004 and thought it would be a good idea to stick with something that everyone seemed to enjoy. I'll be sending you more info and pictures of the Hotel rooms and amenities for you to forward to the troops. We have a lot of work to do and will be counting on your expertise to get the word out. We will give it he old AMMS try to make it a reunion the we can all be=0D proud of.
