=0D Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I want to thank each of you for the support you have provided in helping me maintain the AMMS Alumni website. If you haven't already done so, please dig through those old boxes of photographs, military orders, newspaper articles, etc. and send them in so they can be shared with everyone. If you have a story about your experinces working in AMMS, send that in too!

I lost all email messages that were sent to me during the period December 12th through December 22 as the result of a virus on my mail server. If you sent me an email message during this time period, please resend it so I came make sure appropriate changes have been made on the AMMS Alumni website.

Birth of the Snoopy Patch

=0D Michael Chandler, Illustrator for the 379th Bomb Wing, has provided me with a copy of letter from Charles Schultz authorizing the use of Snoopyon the 379th AMMS Alumni patch. You will find a copy of this letter on the Squadron & Wing Patches and 379th AMMS Memories pages on the website.

Michael has been trying to obtain a copy of the the 379th AMMS and 379th Bomb Wing patches. If you have any extra patches from either of these units, please contact Michael. If he is unable to obtain these patches, he is considering having them reproduced. The company that reproduces the patches has minimum order requirement of 150 patches at $3.00 each. Newsletter Submissions

=0D I would like to thank everyone that has submitted new information and photographs for the website. I receive numerous compliments on the website from alumni and others every month. =0D

=0D I welcome your submissions for inclusion in the newsletter. The deadline for submissions is the 15th of the month prior to publication. Publication dates are the first of March, June, September and December.=0D

Reunion 2006

So far a contract has been signed with The Isle Of Capri on the 17th of March reserving a Hospitality room and the Banquet/ballroom 24 thru 26 April 2006. Room rates will be $79.00 plus tax. The banquet selection has not been determined yet but we will have it shortly. We are planning a picnic at Cullen Park on Barksdale on Tuesday the 25th, it's just a short drive from the Hotel. We had a great time there in 2004 and thought it would be a good idea to stick with something that everyone seemed to enjoy. I'll be sending you more info and pictures of the Hotel rooms and amenities for you to forward to the troops. We have a lot of work to do and will be counting on your expertise to get the word out. We will give it he old AMMS try to make it a reunion the we can all be=0D proud of.

Hound Dog Restoration Projects

The troops at Travis AFB sent in several new photographs of the Hound Dog Missile they are restoring. You will find these new photographs on the website.
