Restoration of GAM77/AGM28 (Hound Dog) - Serial No. 60-2173 has begun at the National Warplane Museum in Elmira, NY. As you can see from the photographs above, this bird is in pretty rough shape. They are looking for a nose cone, J-52P3 engine and a vertical stabilizer. If you know where any of these parts can be located, please contact Dave Victor at ov1c@verizon.net.  If you live near Elmira, New York and would like to get involved in the project, I am sure Dave would welcome your help. Dave is an old Navy troop, having someone familiar with the Hound Dog missile would be a great help.
